Next Door But One FINAL for WEB

Tell Tale are delighted to be back on stage this Spring with Next DoorBut One, an original collection of gritty, funny and moving stories inspired by real life that will be performed at the beautiful Cornerstone Theatre from Thu 21 to Sat 23 May.

A new mum has a curious incident with a frog lamp…
Mr Vlogger Vlogger is making it big time…
Mike Dolphin is at the end of his tether with the local Morrisons…
A funeral prompts a long overdue visit from an old resident…
…it’s just another week in Arlington Crescent.

Next Door But One is a dynamic snapshot of a modern community that combines monologues, duologues and physical ensemble moments with an eclectic mix of storytelling, poetry and live music. Written and directed by members of the Tell Tale Company, making it a true collaborative piece that promises to be fresh, funny, beautiful and thought-provoking.

“Uncomfortable, intense, challenging and visceral. It had the cool sexiness and political edge of the savviest of Channel 4 adaptations” (Made Up on Tell Tale’s production of 1984)
